We put ThermFinish® to ultmate heat barrier test. We have applied ThermaFinish to one pan and not the other. The pans are then placed over a flame for 5 minutes prior to the ice being placed inside.
Result: The pan without ThermaFinish® instantly starts to melt the ice. The pan with ThermaFinish® as you can see protects the ice and limits the heat transfer even from a hot flame.
ThermaFinish was applied to two cinderblocks stacked on top of one another. The same was done to a separate pair of blocks with traditional stucco and paint. The top cinderblock is then folded down to stress the coatings.
Result: The cinderblocks with the ThermaFinish® applied are able to flex all the way to a 90° angle without any noticeable degradation in the coating. The Stucco covered blocks are unable to flex even a few degrees without catastrophic cracking and failure of the coating.
ThermaFinish was applied to a small model home to represent the average consumers residence. ThrmaFinish is applied to the exterior and the model is placed under a heat lamp.
Result: The heat transfer process is almost completely stopped on the model applied with ThermaFinish. Also the surface temperature of the model with ThermaFinish applied remains cool.
